The Griffiths Teas Building is a Sydney landmark, a symbol of the vigorous industrial past of inner-city Surry Hills. Built by Kent, Budden & Greenwell architects in 1915. Due to the heritage nature of the building, the refurbishment needed to meet stringent development application requirements.
Scope: Landmark heritage building within the Sydney CBD into 28 high-end residential units and ground floor commercial facilities.
AED were engaged to provide BCA services which included issuing construction certificates, undertaking critical stage building inspections and issuing occupation certificates for the development in accordance with the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979
